Founded at El Bethel
AskHaven was born at El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Redford, Michigan — a community anchor that has served metro Detroit for decades. Church leaders recognized a persistent challenge: community members often didn't know where to find help, and existing resource directories were outdated or hard to navigate.
In partnership with Vertex Prime Group LLC, the church developed AskHaven — an AI-powered assistant that connects people to verified community resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in both English and Spanish.
What started as a tool for one congregation has grown into a platform serving multiple churches and communities across Wayne County, with the vision of expanding to serve communities nationwide.
